Home » The future for AI in marketing for Sports Betting

Mariusz Gąsiewski, CEE Mobile Gaming & Apps Lead at Google, was featured in a keynote talk at the SiGMA Asia Summit, titled “Trends in growth, data AI that will shape the online marketing in casino and sports betting in 2024 and 2025.”

In his talks, Gąsiewski has broken down the elements of online marketing into four major components: Users, Ads, Assets and Data. The subject of Users and Ads were further elaborated on in a later panel discussion that included online marketing trends, localisation and how affiliate partnerships help with growth.

One interesting topic in Gąsiewski’s talk was regarding AI and data, covered under the Data element. He stated that “AI will be playing bigger roles in the growth activities” and there will be “strong need for having comprehensive and compliant data approaches.”

He also emphasised the importance of quality data, meaning data collected and analysed ethically without breaching regulations and privacy concerns of its sources’ origins.

Quality data is crucial for more effective marketing strategies.

Gąsiewski forecasted the future revenue of online gambling to reach US$136bn in 2029, indicating that this sector has much potential and growth. Yet it is also an ever-evolving sector, and companies in the industry must adapt to current technology to remain competitive and relevant, he concluded.
